Maple Syrup Pancakes

Maple Pancakes

Maple Pancakes are a delicious way to start your day, combining the rich flavor of maple syrup with a light and fluffy texture. These pancakes are perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine:

    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if the batter is a bit lumpy.
  4. Preheat Griddle:

    • Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  5. Cook Pancakes:

    • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve:

    • Serve the pancakes warm with additional maple syrup, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings.
