Maple Chicken Wings are a delicious combination of savory and sweet, perfect for a game day snack or party appetizer. This recipe features a rich maple glaze that adds a delightful twist to classic chicken wings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Prepare Marinade:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Marinate Chicken:

    • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  4. Bake:

    • Arrange the marinated wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  5. Serve:

    • Serve the maple chicken wings hot, garnished with additional maple glaze or your favorite dipping sauce.
